The standards behind the guides.
A useful explanation should make the subject clearer and leave the reader with a reliable way to investigate further.
Clarity and evidence
Our articles aim to explain a specific question in plain language. We use official exchange, regulator, government, institutional and educational resources where they are relevant. A source should support the statement attached to it. General reasoning and hypothetical examples should be recognisable as such.
How articles are structured
Each journal article addresses a distinct topic and provides one selected editorial source link, alongside internal links to related guides. That link offers a practical route into primary information. Country and topic pages may include additional official directories and institution links to support further research.
Factual care
Market rules, product terms and institutional information can change. Readers should check the current source and the documents of a particular investment before relying on a general explanation. We avoid presenting sample price data as live information or using unsupported claims about returns, partnerships, credentials or performance.
Editorial independence and scope
Coverage of an institution or an instrument does not establish a partnership, endorsement or investment recommendation. Country guides and sector examples are selected for their educational usefulness. Institution names are used to identify the subject under discussion.
Dates and revisions
Article pages display their publication dates. Material factual changes should be assessed against the source and identified when a substantive revision is made. A publication date is not a guarantee that every linked external document remains unchanged. Follow the current official resource for time-sensitive requirements.
Corrections
To raise a factual concern, send the page URL, the relevant statement and supporting primary evidence to the editorial desk. Distinguish a factual error from a difference in interpretation so the issue can be evaluated clearly.
Financial education
Content is general education. It does not account for a reader’s objectives, finances, tax position, legal status or risk tolerance. See the risk disclosure for the limits of the site’s information and consider appropriate professional advice for personal decisions.
